Key ResponsibilitiesEngage in V&V and IV&V activities to ensure flight software adheres to functional, performance, and safety standards.Assist in requirements management and tracing, guaranteeing complete traceability from system-level requirements to software implementation and verification artifacts.Prepare and critique documentation necessary for software certification and NASA Safety Reviews.Interpret, adapt, and apply formal standards.Coordinate with internal Product Assurance teams.Collaborate daily with system engineers and software development teams to troubleshoot technical challenges and refine requirements.Utilize your expertise in C++ and Python to actively participate in software design and testing discussions.Desired QualificationsExperience with safety-critical or highly regulated software systems, ideally within the aerospace sector.Strong grasp of requirements management, V&V, and certification processes.Robust technical foundation in software engineering, with hands-on experience in flight software frameworks and modern C++.Background in real-time systems, embedded development, or spacecraft software.Familiarity with software testing methodologies and simulation tools.Exceptional communication and teamwork skills across disciplines.Attention to detail, quality assurance, and thorough testing.Understanding of agile and contemporary development practices.
