About Our System Validation Team
The Software Systems Validation team at Zipline is responsible for ensuring that the software driving our autonomous delivery aircraft functions reliably, safely, and as intended in real-world scenarios. Our focus is on system-level evaluations, assessing how components such as navigation, perception, controls, planning, and actuation integrate into a cohesive product.
We collaborate closely with Embedded Software, Autonomy, Systems Engineering, Test Infrastructure, and Data Platform teams to develop validation tools, analyze performance, and proactively identify risks. Our work encompasses simulation, hardware testing, data-driven analyses, and extensive system evaluations that support our global deployments.
As an intern, you'll partner with engineers across various domains, gaining hands-on experience in the design, testing, and validation of industry-leading autonomous systems.
Your Role
As a Software Systems Validation Intern, you will assist in assessing the software that powers Zipline’s autonomous drone delivery system.
