As a Software Test Specialist, you will play a pivotal role within an enthusiastic development team contributing to a cloud-based solution that intelligently manages physical access in a continuous deployment context. Working closely with fellow testers, you will be responsible for both manual and automated testing of this platform, actively participating in the development process to guarantee quality.
Your Day at a Glance:
- Ensure software quality by participating from the design and development phases in the formulation and execution of manual and automated tests.
- Collaborate with developers to review acceptance criteria for features and draft test plans to validate them.
- Test both public and private APIs of services.
- Maintain a testing environment to identify feature breakdowns that could impact production within a continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environment.
- Provide detailed reports of executed tests and identified issues.
- Propose and implement new tools and practices to improve quality assurance efficiency.
What Makes You an Excellent Candidate:
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written (this position requires interactions with our international collaborators and clients).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to accurately describe and share observations.
- Proven experience in manual and/or automated software testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities to assist our internal and external clients.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts and technologies swiftly.
