The Role
In our commercial segment, which encompasses companies with up to 250 employees, the majority of our clients are led by developers and engineers. These decision-makers are not swayed by traditional sales decks and scripted discovery calls; they prefer engaging with someone who speaks their technical language, comprehends their architecture, and collaborates on real-world problems. This is the profile of the candidate we are seeking.
As a Solutions Account Executive at ClickHouse, you will manage the entire sales cycle for incoming, product-driven, and self-serving accounts within this segment. You will connect with data engineers, platform teams, and technical founders at the crucial moment they are assessing ClickHouse for a specific use case, with your role focused on facilitating their success more efficiently. The most successful deals in this segment resemble engineering consultations that culminate in contracts.
Our commercial clientele includes companies like Circle, Flashbots, Blockworks, Cypress.io, Kit, Whop, Coframe, Shaped, and janitorai—developer-first products that chose ClickHouse for its capability to manage billions of events without compromising user experience. In this segment, the best deals often emulate engineering consultations leading to formal agreements.
This position is ideal for technically proficient individuals ready to take ownership of performance metrics. While prior closing experience is not mandatory, possessing technical credibility is essential.
