About The Role:
As a Solutions Engineer at Mixpanel, you will play a pivotal role in our growth by collaborating closely with both our Sales and Partnerships teams. In this position, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, aligning Mixpanel’s solutions with their business objectives. Our Solutions Engineers are expected to be curious and adaptable, effectively communicating the technical advantages and requirements of Mixpanel to developers and product managers while also conveying the value of our product to high-level executives.
Additionally, you will engage with a diverse range of customers through Mixpanel’s partner ecosystem, providing seamless onboarding and continuous education to partners regarding the various aspects of the Mixpanel solution, including joint-value positioning, implementation strategies, and product training. Collaboration with our Solution Engineering and Customer Success teams will ensure that best practices are shared and that our end customers receive a top-notch experience through our partners.
In your first month, you will become proficient in Mixpanel’s features and functionalities, as well as its implementation processes. You will have the chance to observe customer calls and demonstrations alongside experienced Sales Engineers and Account Executives, learning how to effectively articulate our value proposition. Training on Mixpanel’s internal systems and tools will be provided to set you up for success.
Within your first three months, you will actively participate in deal cycles alongside Account Executives and Partner Managers, leading technical qualifications for customer use cases and delivering tailored demonstrations for potential clients. You will interact directly with leadership at prospective and partner organizations to identify business challenges that can be addressed through our analytics platform, offering consultative insights on how Mixpanel can provide solutions.
