Join our passionate team at Centria Autism as a Spanish-Speaking Behavior Technician and make a significant impact in the lives of children with autism. In this rewarding role, you will provide one-on-one support to children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Your mission will be to utilize evidence-based strategies to enhance communication, social, and daily living skills, while also minimizing challenging behaviors. We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about helping children realize their fullest potential. The ideal candidates will exhibit patience, compassion, and teamwork spirit.
Comprehensive training will be provided, ensuring you feel confident and empowered in your role, regardless of prior experience. This position requires physical stamina as children may be unpredictable; thus, you should be comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting or carrying objects or children weighing up to 50 pounds.
