Qualifications
Experience/Education:Licensure/Certification: We are looking for experienced pharmacy technicians registered in the State of Massachusetts. National certification as a CPhT is preferred but not mandatory.Years of Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required, with 5-8 years preferred.Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required.Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to work independently with good judgment, excellent verbal and written communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), quick learner of new software, and strong organizational/administrative skills are essential.Traits: You should be organized, dependable, detail-oriented, empathetic, and an effective communicator.Other: We seek an energetic, motivated team player with strong personal and communication skills. Confidentiality is crucial, as this role involves handling sensitive and private data.Specialties: Knowledge of transplant, hepatitis C, infectious diseases (including HIV), and/or oncology is a plus.

In the role of Specialty Pharmacy Liaison, you will serve as the primary point of contact for specialty pharmacy patients. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, facilitating refills, coordinating drug delivery, managing insurance and copay issues, and monitoring patient adherence to therapies. You will collaborate across the care continuum with clinical pharmacists, prescribers, and clinic staff to swiftly resolve any concerns that arise.
