Position Title: Specialty Sales Representative

Summary of Position:
The Specialty Sales Representative serves as a vital member of Paratek's National Salesforce, primarily targeting primary care physicians and podiatrists, with a secondary focus on dermatologists. This role involves leveraging data, tools, and insights to create a comprehensive business plan, utilizing strong interpersonal skills and clinical expertise to promote the adoption of Paratek products among suitable patients, enhance existing customer usage, and build relationships with new physicians, office staff, and other stakeholders to accomplish territory, regional, and company goals.
Position Responsibilities:
- Engage with targeted prescribers within the assigned territory.
- Deliver clinically relevant sales messages to introduce, launch, and grow business operations aimed at consistently achieving product sales objectives.
- Implement tactical strategies aligned with company directives within the designated geographic area to propel individual, regional, and corporate sales performance.
- Fulfill Call Plan expectations and accomplish territory and product sales targets while adhering to all Paratek policies, including the company's Code of Conduct.
- Educate and promote targeted physicians and healthcare professionals (HCPs) on the application of company products through one-on-one meetings, group presentations, and approved promotional programs.
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Business Director, team members, and other internal and external stakeholders to meet sales objectives.
- Communicate effectively and persuasively with clients using proficient selling, listening, and negotiation skills, employing appropriate terminology and approved messaging.
- Exhibit skillfulness in selling across various communication channels, both virtual and face-to-face (emails, phone calls, virtual meetings, etc.).
- Maintain a positive and compliant relational dynamic with customers, including all members of HCP offices and staff.
- Accurately report and submit sales call activities, territory expenses, and written reports within the timelines set by Sales Management.
