Join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, dedicated to working with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in the San Antonio area.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to clients' homes to deliver personalized therapy sessions.
Document therapy visits effectively and maintain communication with families and case managers to provide updates.
Utilize and enhance the therapy materials provided for optimal client outcomes.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated SLP-Assistants committed to improving the lives of adult individuals with IDD. As the leading provider of adult IDD therapy services in Texas, Soundly Speaking collaborates closely with day habilitation staff and families to empower clients aged 21 and older.
At Soundly Speaking, we offer both in-person and teletherapy services. As an SLP-Assistant, you'll be expected to:
Treat a variety of speech and language disorders.
Implement detailed therapy interventions aimed at achieving both short and long-term goals as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
Be adaptable in your approach and work collaboratively with supervisors and case managers.
Complete required paperwork within a 24-hour timeframe.
Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
Communicate effectively with families and case managers regarding therapy progress.
