Key Responsibilities:
As a Home Health SLP, you will:
- Assess and communicate with patients to evaluate speech or language difficulties and determine the need for ongoing therapy services
- Instruct patients on sound production and voice enhancement techniques
- Teach alternative communication methods, including sign language, to patients with limited or no verbal abilities
- Guide patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members on therapeutic exercises to facilitate continued progress beyond therapy sessions
- Document patient progress and responses to therapy in compliance with agency procedures
Qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- A valid and unrestricted SLP license in the state of Georgia
