Position Overview
The Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will collaborate closely with a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist to assist in screening, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders among elementary school students. These communication challenges may involve difficulties with articulation, fluency, voice, verbal and written communication, auditory comprehension, and cognitive communication. This role will implement specific elements of a tailored speech and language program as outlined in the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) developed by the Speech and Language Pathologist.
