Join our dynamic global team at Sectigo as a proficient Staff Accountant! In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for executing full-cycle accounting and closing tasks, which include preparing journal entries, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, managing corporate credit card expense reports, and handling multi-currency transactions for our international subsidiaries. You will also be involved in internal reviews, reporting, and supporting annual audits.
To thrive in this position, you need to have a strong command of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced Excel skills, alongside excellent communication abilities. Your role will require you to collaborate effectively with both internal and external teams on various accounting projects while managing time efficiently and meeting deadlines. Adherence to US accounting standards and our company’s SOPs is essential.
This is a full-time opportunity with a hybrid work model, requiring you to report to our Scottsdale office 3-4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute full-cycle accounting tasks timely and accurately, adhering to closing timelines and lender deliverables.
- Record journal entries related to bank activities and complete bank reconciliations across multiple currencies within our ERP system, coordinating weekly with team members for entry completeness.
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including accrued and prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and deferred expense accounting under US GAAP.
- Work with the global team to reconcile variances in multi-entity, multi-currency intercompany transactions.
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of assigned schedules, including balance sheet reconciliations, aligned with closing timelines.
- Assist the Accounting and FP&A Teams in reviewing financial statements and reconciling ledger variances.
- Support Interim and Annual Audit engagements by providing necessary schedules and reconciliations.
