Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Manage the corporate credit card process from transaction review through reconciliation, proactively engaging with employees and escalating issues to the Manager as necessary.
Ensure timely submission and processing of all invoices in Ramp, ensuring accurate classification, approval, and payment; escalate any questions or exceptions to the Manager.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations for Accounts Payable, Leases, Fixed Assets, Prepaids, Credit Cards, Travel & Expenses, Payroll, and Accruals.
Analyze and provide insights on significant month-over-month cash variances in collaboration with the Accounting and FP&A teams.
Work closely with the Staff Accountant to review work, complete assigned tasks, and address open or aged items.
Evaluate and monitor accounting and expense workflows, identifying areas for improved efficiency while maintaining accuracy and control.
Communicate outstanding expense and invoice items to the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely recording of transactions for accurate bank reconciliations.
Support general ledger coding and classification, collaborating with the FP&A team to ensure precise financial reporting.
Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives as directed by management.
