Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Massachusetts State Bar or eligibility for admission.Demonstrated commitment to serving vulnerable populations, particularly children.Experience in immigration law and child advocacy is highly desirable.Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Ability to work collaboratively and supervise non-attorney staff effectively.

Position Overview:
KIND is seeking a dedicated Staff Attorney to deliver expert legal services to unaccompanied children requiring legal representation. This role encompasses vigorous direct advocacy as well as the provision of pro bono support, including comprehensive consultation, training, and technical guidance to pro bono attorneys handling KIND cases. The Staff Attorney will also oversee Senior Paralegals, Paralegals, interns, and other non-attorney personnel as necessary, reporting directly to the Supervising Attorney.
This position is contingent upon ongoing funding.
