About the Team and Role:
The Revenue Data Science team works in close collaboration with Finance and senior leadership to analyze revenue performance, predict future trends, and deliver a reliable perspective on Mozilla’s financial outlook. Our work is pivotal in guiding planning, investment choices, and executive discussions in a fast-changing product and market landscape.
As a Staff Data Scientist, you will lead Mozilla’s revenue forecasting and executive reporting processes from start to finish. This role demands strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and an ability to navigate complex scenarios, ensuring that insights provided to leadership are both rigorous and actionable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of Mozilla’s search revenue forecasting program, including model development, scenario analysis, and executive reporting.
- Create and maintain forecasting models in Python, selecting suitable methodologies and validating outcomes to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
