Role Overview
We are in search of a Staff Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in welding and bonding processes to serve as a Joining Specialist. In this pivotal role within our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, you will be tasked with developing, optimizing, and scaling innovative manufacturing processes for Form Energy’s Iron-Air multi-day battery.
As a Joining Specialist, you will be instrumental in defining the processes for sealing our cell vessels, creating electrical interconnects, and assembling auxiliary systems. Your primary focus will be on developing robust processes that enable the product design to meet our cost and performance objectives while ensuring the stability of novel manufacturing methods. Your contributions will have a profound daily impact on our mission to revolutionize grid reliability and sustainability.
