ABOUT THE TEAM
Our Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) division is on a dual mission: to create highly capable autonomous drones and manufacture solid rocket motors at scale. We take products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius from conceptual stages to operational readiness by collaborating closely with specialized engineering, operations, and production teams. Our Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team designs and produces solid rocket motors utilizing advanced materials and proprietary formulations, ensuring the delivery of safe and reliable propulsion systems for diverse mission requirements. We seek dynamic software and hardware engineers eager to contribute to a varied and impactful portfolio—from autonomous aerial systems to high-performance solid rocket motors. Our teams are committed to developing robust autonomous robotics systems and propulsion products that excel in the most demanding operational environments.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are in search of a visionary engineer to spearhead a groundbreaking relative navigation solution that integrates perception, tracking, and guidance for an upcoming project at our Costa Mesa, CA headquarters. In this role, you will lead the development, refinement, and implementation of guidance architecture that combines high-cost off-board sensing with low-cost onboard sensing technologies for existing and future product variants. This position will leverage state-of-the-art Computer Vision (CV) and Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) methodologies, requiring familiarity with firmware and electrical hardware. You will play a pivotal role in early-stage product development, shaping the platform’s capabilities to ensure consistent mission success on a hyper-scalable framework developed within an aggressive timeline.
