Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAs part of the Studio team, your primary focus will be on the Deliveroo product while being integrated into a global design community that includes exceptional designers from Deliveroo, Wolt, and DoorDash. At the Staff level, you will have a crucial role in this community, mentoring senior talent, sharing best practices, and establishing a benchmark for design excellence worldwide.Craft the product design strategy addressing high-level, ambiguous business challenges while ensuring alignment between user requirements and long-term commercial objectives.Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to influence architectural decisions and uphold platform-wide design standards.Champion a culture of design excellence by mentoring senior designers and cultivating high-quality craftsmanship across the organization.Identify and address systemic design opportunities that enhance performance, accessibility, and user satisfaction on a large scale.Serve as a connector between functions, leveraging your influence to align cross-functional teams around a cohesive product vision.Qualifications for SuccessProven experience leading intricate design initiatives from inception to launch within expansive, high-growth environments.Demonstrated ability to define and drive design strategy, effectively managing numerous stakeholders and competing priorities.Strong track record of mentoring designers and enhancing the caliber of work within high-performing teams.Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to convey complex design visions and influence senior leadership effectively.Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise.
