About the Team and Role:
The Firefox Desktop Search & Monetization team is responsible for one of Mozilla’s foundational product domains—delivering exceptional, privacy-respecting search experiences that enhance both revenue and user engagement for Firefox Desktop. Search functionality is crucial in any browser, influencing user behavior daily and contributing significantly to Firefox’s revenue stream.
As a Staff Product Manager, you will lead the strategy and implementation of search within the Firefox Desktop browser across diverse platforms including Windows, macOS, and Linux. This role requires a balance of product experience, revenue growth, and partnership strategy to foster sustainable user engagement and long-term value for both users and Mozilla.
Your Responsibilities:
- Drive and manage the product strategy for search in the Firefox Desktop browser to enhance search engagement and revenue generation.
- Lead comprehensive experimentation across browser search access points, default search experiences, and monetization interfaces.
- Collaborate with data teams to establish clear success metrics.
