Your Impact on Our Mission
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare communication by developing Zocdoc’s AI Phone Assistant, Zo. This intelligent voice agent will handle inbound calls for hospitals and doctor's offices, significantly impacting patient-provider interactions. You will have the opportunity to design, build, and scale AI systems that redefine healthcare connectivity.

Your Day to Day
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software systems that support Zocdoc’s AI Phone Assistant.
- Design and implement AI-driven workflows, integrating large language models (LLMs) and conversational AI into production systems.
- Lead prompt engineering, model integration, and system optimization to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
