We create and maintain high-performance, large-scale systems capable of processing petabytes of vehicle data, executing extensive simulations, and training intricate models. This role as a software engineer is primarily focused on constructing robust platforms, distinguishing it from SRE positions.
As a Staff Engineer, you will serve as the technical backbone of our team, establishing the architectural vision and spearheading the development of critical infrastructure that supports hundreds of engineers.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and development of highly scalable, distributed infrastructure services utilizing Kubernetes.
- Define the technical vision and roadmap for the team, making impactful decisions that drive advancements in autonomous vehicle development.
- Mentor fellow engineers, enhancing the team’s technical expertise through design reviews, collaborative programming, and constructive feedback.
- Engage hands-on in building and deploying the most sophisticated components of the platform, from high-throughput data processing services to core compute orchestration.
