The Role
Flock is pioneering the future of autonomous aerial systems, and as a Staff Systems Engineer, you will be integral in this mission. You will work on our complete drone platform, integrating payloads, propulsion systems, connectivity, flight control, and other essential subsystems to ensure reliable performance in real-world scenarios. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on solving complex integration challenges and enjoy working closely with hardware.
Collaboration will be key as you engage with mechanical, electrical, embedded, and connectivity teams to validate the aircraft's integration, troubleshoot cross-subsystem issues, and enhance overall performance through rigorous testing and refinement. From integrating new payloads to optimizing flight behavior, your contributions will directly influence how our drone platforms function in the field.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with extensive UAS systems experience who appreciate seeing the broader picture rather than just focusing on isolated components. We seek an engineer who is passionate about building, testing, and fine-tuning complex aerial systems while propelling a dynamic team forward in one of Flock’s most captivating technical environments.
