Position Overview
As the Store Floor Lead at Sur La Table, you are pivotal to our retail success, inspiring customers at every step of their culinary journey. This leadership position involves supporting the General Manager (GM) or Store Manager (SM) in meeting sales and operational targets. As the Manager on Duty (MOD), you will oversee daily operations, ensuring a seamless experience in line with our company-wide standard of excellence in service, known as #bestincenter.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
· Lead the sales floor and manage daily store operations as the Manager on Duty (MOD).
· Provide real-time coaching and constructive feedback to enhance performance and team engagement. Report performance issues directly to the General Manager/Store Manager.
· Assist in onboarding, training, and the development of new team members.
Customer Experience & Brand Representation
· Embody Sur La Table’s brand and culture by delivering memorable and educational customer experiences that encourage repeat visits and foster loyalty.
