The Bench Store Manager will temporarily work across various locations in the market area before being assigned to a permanent store. We are eager to connect with Big Box Store Managers!
The Store Manager is responsible for fostering an outstanding customer service culture, driving sales performance, and identifying new sales opportunities. You will develop and implement store strategies and tactics to meet sales, service, and operational goals with a focus on maximizing profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and motivating associates to create a customer-centric environment that enhances customer retention and brand loyalty.
- Overseeing associate training and talent development, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and support.
- Managing hiring, merchandising, operations, and adherence to store and company standards while addressing any associate or customer relations issues.
- Participating in community networking and relationship-building initiatives.
- Acting as a Change Champion, promoting and supporting necessary changes within the store.
In this role, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service by proactively engaging with customers, resolving issues, and implementing necessary tools and systems to meet their needs. You will be accountable for performance management, including conducting performance appraisals, providing feedback, and fostering a culture of creative problem-solving.
This position also requires effective inventory management, financial controls, and operational process reviews to maintain optimal store performance.
