ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team, collaborating under the mentorship of a licensed engineer. You will contribute to various projects, including new constructions and renovations across sectors such as education, healthcare, sports, corporate commercial, and science and technology.
Collaborate with seasoned structural engineers to design new or analyze existing structural systems for a variety of building types including institutional, sports, and corporate/commercial facilities.
Conduct design calculations with direct oversight from experienced engineers.
Utilize relevant engineering software for the design and documentation of structural systems.
Employ Autodesk Revit to create BIM models for Contract Documents.
Assist in the creation of Contract Documents, which encompass foundation plans, floor framing plans, roof plans, sections, details, and specifications.
Coordinate effectively with design team members to integrate structural systems with the overall building design.
Review shop drawings during the construction phase and may conduct site observations.
Be prepared to work overtime as needed.
Perform additional duties as required.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
A Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering (with a Structural emphasis) from an ABET accredited program is required by the hiring date.
Relevant internship experience is preferred.
EIT and LEED accreditation are advantageous.
