As a Camp Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that both the academic and co-curricular programs at the camp adhere to ALPADIA's esteemed standards. You will be responsible for implementing quality welfare arrangements for our students and exemplifying outstanding leadership for the staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Effectively manage and support staff, fostering their professional development to contribute to a high-quality program aligned with ALPADIA’s objectives. Lead daily team meetings to enhance performance and communicate essential information. Facilitate staff training and induction, and assist the regional manager in staff performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Student Management: Promote and safeguard the wellbeing of all students under your care. Act as the Designated Safeguarding Staff member. Ensure that all students enjoy and actively participate in ALPADIA’s programs while adhering to all policies and rules. Take full responsibility for student behavior and discipline within the camp.
- Language Program: Collaborate with the Academic Manager to oversee teaching staff, ensuring ALPADIA’s language programs are engaging and enriching, offering high-quality standard, intensive, and individual courses.
- Activities Program: Work alongside the Activity Manager to manage activity leaders, ensuring that ALPADIA’s activities are well-organized and enjoyable, including a diverse multi-activity, premium, evening, and excursion program for all students.
- Welfare and Health & Safety: Ensure that all relevant safeguarding and health and safety policies are understood and implemented effectively. Manage all staff, including the Night-time Supervisor, to maintain high standards of welfare provision, allowing students to enjoy all aspects of the camp in a safe and inclusive environment. Respond promptly to any emergencies that may jeopardize the safety of students or staff or compromise ALPADIA’s reputation.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders involved in our camps, ensuring transparency and cooperation.
