Position Overview:
We are currently in search of a meticulous and highly organized Permits Coordinator to facilitate the summer camp permitting process. This remote role is essential in ensuring that all submissions, renewals, and inspections in line with the New York City Department of Health (NYC DOH) are completed efficiently and timely as we transition through a medical leave.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete permit application process for approximately 8 distinct summer camp locations.
- Prepare and submit necessary forms and documentation to the NYC DOH.
- Monitor the status of submissions, track inspection schedules, and maintain clear communication with DOH officials.
- Keep precise digital records of all permit-related documents and correspondence.
- Provide updates and requests to internal teams including Site Directors, Operations, and Leadership.
- Assist in organizing compliance materials for DOH inspections (e.g., medical logs, staff forms, site documentation).
- Offer ongoing administrative and logistical support during the review and inspection phases.
- (Optional Extension) Collaborate with Site Directors and camp staff during the summer season to ensure continued compliance and address any DOH requirements as they arise.
