This position is primarily a summer temporary role, and we hope you will be available to work during June, July, and August. If you can start earlier, that would be a significant advantage! Securitas will provide you with a schedule, allowing you to plan your summer around both work and enjoyable activities! Whether you prefer to work during the day or night, in a fast-paced environment or a calmer setting, Securitas has the job for you.
Working as a security guard is perfect for those who enjoy engaging with people and assisting them in their daily lives. As a guard at our offices in Ådalen, you will become part of a close-knit team. Securitas Ådalen includes the locations of Kramfors, Sollefteå, and Härnösand, and we encourage flexibility in working across all these areas. Shift lengths vary, but they often consist of 12-hour shifts, either day or night, including weekends.
As a patrol security guard, you will be responsible for monitoring multiple clients during your shift. You will travel between clients by car and perform various types of checks, including area surveillance, internal patrols, alarm activations, and client closures. It is essential to document your work and any deviations you encounter. This role is independent and often perceived as flexible, yet it carries significant responsibility. The patrol security guard position is ideal for those who enjoy being active. Most shifts will take place at night.
As a stationary security guard, you will provide on-site security for one of our clients. Depending on the client, your tasks may vary. You may work as a receptionist at a larger company or conduct security checks of individuals entering and exiting, patrols, alarm management, and video surveillance. Regardless of which client you serve, your primary responsibility is to remain vigilant and ensure everything is in order.
One of your future security colleagues, Hanna, has a few words for those interested in applying:
"Being a patrol guard is varied. At night, I visit several clients while the city sleeps, and I appreciate the calm that comes when I ensure everything is secure – it gives a unique sense of responsibility and freedom. Each client and location has its own rhythm and routines, making the job stimulating, unpredictable, and always interesting.”
We are security. We are Securitas.
