As a Supervising Mechanical Engineer II, you will serve as the Engineer of Record for designated projects, leading and managing coordination meetings effectively. You will guide and supervise team members in their responsibilities while contributing to budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.Key responsibilities include:Conducting periodic and thorough employee evaluations.Acting as the Engineer of Record on designated projects.Supporting the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer with technical training and mentoring.Coordinating and assigning various projects to the engineering team, including system design and project engineering tasks.Establishing design standards, specifications, and project criteria.Overseeing staff members in task execution.Managing construction administration duties such as field reports and responses to RFIs.Collaborating with accounting to prepare monthly project invoices and follow-up on accounts receivable.Monitoring all communications between staff, clients, contractors, and owners.
