The Supply Chain Planning Analyst will be responsible for managing the entire product supply for the assigned Canadian product portfolio. The successful candidate will ensure optimal inventory levels and oversee product reconfiguration with the packaging service provider, alongside other local supply chain activities. This role involves close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to enhance forecast accuracy, comprehend overall business strategies, and ensure their implementation in local operations. The analyst will serve as the primary contact with the global Supply Chain Planning team and provide technical support related to the SAP system and planning processes in Canada while identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and control finished goods inventory levels, particularly for products not managed under a global supply planning model.
- Work closely with global planners to ensure future supply meets optimal inventory levels, verifying product dates, safety stock parameters, minimum order quantities, withdrawal intervals, etc.
- Conduct meetings regarding potential stockouts and/or with senior management to communicate with key local and global stakeholders and determine actions to prevent and/or minimize supply disruptions.
