Position Summary
The Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Analyst II is responsible for conducting comprehensive analyses of intelligence and industry trends to identify vulnerabilities affecting Information Technology systems and supply chains due to foreign intelligence threats. This role involves integrating open-source and classified intelligence to deliver thorough assessments, uncover foreign influence or compromises, and recommend effective countermeasures. The analyst plays a crucial role in supporting government leadership by evaluating threats, generating triage reports, and suggesting enhancements to SCRM processes and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Intelligence & Threat Analysis
- Review comprehensive intelligence products and industry trend data to pinpoint technical and non-technical vulnerabilities.
- Evaluate threats posed by foreign intelligence entities to the Command’s IT systems and supply chain.
- Conduct impact and vulnerability assessments while providing actionable recommendations.
Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Integration
- Gather, analyze, and interpret OSINT from diverse platforms.
- Integrate OSINT with classified intelligence to create objective, data-driven threat assessments.
- Develop evaluations concerning foreign influence, compromise, and various supply chain risks.
Reporting & Production
- Identify potential foreign influence or compromise within the supply chain.
- Create acquisition threat triage reports and other intelligence products to support SCRM initiatives.
- Maintain documentation and present findings to senior government stakeholders.
