We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Support Manager to join our team, primarily tasked with supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/LG) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
The AFLCMC is entrusted with the comprehensive life cycle management of Air Force weapon systems, overseeing them from inception through to retirement. The motto of AFLCMC, 'providing what warfighters need, when they need it,' underscores our commitment to equipping the Air Force with the necessary resources for effective organization, training, and equipment acquisition. Our mission is to secure and support superior capabilities to ensure that every phase of weapon systems life cycle management is executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert knowledge and technical experience in acquisition logistics, assisting the Government with the management of 12 product support and integrated logistics support elements including:
- Supply Support
- Technical Data and Technical Data Management
- Maintenance Planning and Management (MP&M)
- Product Support Management
- Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T)
- Design Interface
- Sustaining Engineering
- Computer Resources
- Facilities and Infrastructure
- Manpower and Personnel
- Support Equipment
- Training and Training Support
- Provide logistics support and guidance to program offices.
- Facilitate the execution of product support tasks and develop training materials, delivering training both on-site and virtually.
- Conduct control activities, including schedule and progress monitoring, addressing inquiries, and managing risks.
- Assist in creating tools and processes to standardize key product support procedures across AFLCMC.
