Position Overview
The Support Worker plays a crucial role in the Adult Services Centre, assisting the Instructor and/or the Social Care Leader in the planning, execution, and evaluation of various training and employment programs. These initiatives aim to enhance practical skills, encourage innovation, promote independence, and instill a sense of accomplishment among service users. Additionally, the Support Worker will provide essential personal care support, ensuring dignity and respect are upheld at all times.
Main Responsibilities:
Recognize and respect the individuality of each service user, including their interests, preferences, abilities, and communication styles.
Consistently treat each service user with dignity and respect.
