- Drive the adoption of Santen’s MicroShunt as the leading surgical solution for glaucoma by enhancing awareness, cultivating relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and delivering cutting-edge surgical training and support.
- Strategically introduce and grow Santen’s surgical offerings in the market, ensuring consistent market share growth while fostering collaboration with the glaucoma prescription drugs team to develop integrated strategies.
- Utilize your surgical ophthalmology expertise to influence surgeon preferences, manage complex hospital dynamics, and serve as a strategic ally to hospitals and clinics within your territory.
- A proactive and solution-oriented professional with a strong commercial acumen and the capability to adapt to a fast-paced market environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish new accounts in surgical glaucoma.
- Facilitate and/or assist in local training related to glaucoma drainage surgery.
- Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with key opinion leaders in your territory.
- Collaborate closely with Santen's Pricing & Market Access Team to optimize the MicroShunt market potential in your region.
- Craft innovative and effective account-level acquisition strategies to drive sustainable business growth.
- Meet sales targets and create an operational plan for maximizing return on investment.
- Achieve and showcase effective utilization of established KPIs and objectives.
- Recognize sales-related trends and profitable business opportunities while aligning available resources.
- Strengthen existing relationships and manage business with current key customers.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback on competitor activities.
- Engage with Santen sales management, marketing, and customer service to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Oversee the financial budget for your territory.
- Provide technical support for inquiries related to your product portfolio.
- Effectively utilize company reporting tools to maintain updated customer and territory information and share valuable insights across the organization.
- Adhere to company standards and the Code of Practice.
- Follow Good Distribution Practice guidelines as mandated for all employees.
