As a pivotal figure at the intersection of innovation and operational excellence within technological development, you will play a crucial role in the design and enhancement of our new range of robots.
In your capacity as the Manager of the Systems Engineering team for our Robotics Division, you will lead the Systems Engineering and Laboratory team within a globally structured project-oriented organization. You will ensure that the most suitable practices and standards in systems engineering are applied.
Your mission encompasses:
- Two product lines: industrial robots (4-axis and 6-axis) and mobile platforms (AGV)
- Three complementary areas of responsibility:
- Systems Engineering (MBSE / functional, logical, physical architectures)
- Internal laboratories (IVVQC: Integration, Verification, Validation, Qualification, and Certification)
- External development partners / international research laboratories
Thus, your missions include:
Scope of responsibilities for the three identified areas:
- Manage and develop the skills of team members (both functional and hierarchical management)
- Ensure the availability of internal and external team members for project portfolio initiatives
- Capitalize on learnings from completed projects and establish business rules
- Structure our relationships with external development partners
- Define and implement necessary tools with the assistance of the IT department
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service
Managerial Scope:
You will lead a team of approximately fifteen individuals (with both hierarchical and functional responsibilities). You will be part of a community of managers at Stäubli and will receive support to achieve both human and business objectives in your environment. In this role, you represent the Management, guide the team daily, and ensure the performance development of your team.
Mobility: Occasional international travel may be required.
