Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Evaluate vehicle integration milestones to establish verification objectives. Design, implement, and carry out system and aircraft level verification and validation (V&V) workflows. Create and execute test procedures, analyze data, assess pass/fail outcomes, and document identified issues. Develop and execute vehicle checkout procedures for newly integrated systems and components. Gather and review system readiness documentation to assess overall aircraft and flight readiness. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in testing aerospace or autonomous systems. Hands-on experience with software- and hardware-in-the-loop test environments, including Python for data analysis and visualization. Proficiency in C/C++ development and integration for real-time and safety-critical systems, alongside familiarity with version control, CI/CD methodologies, and software testing frameworks.

As a System Integration and Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in merging flight software with hardware subsystems across various testing environments, including benches, labs, and aircraft. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire testing lifecycle, from initial equipment activation and functional verification in the lab to installation and acceptance testing in aircraft. Your detailed verification plans and reports will be crucial for safety-of-flight assessments and will contribute to independent government airworthiness processes. Additionally, you will create a robust suite of software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tests to ensure quality and safeguard against bugs and functionality regressions.
