As a key member of the Power Services division, the System Protection Engineer will spearhead the design, testing, and commissioning of advanced protection, control, and communication systems. Key Responsibilities

System Protection Design (30%)
- Lead the electrical design of protection and control initiatives.
- Design and develop integrated communication systems.
- Generate one-line diagrams, layout plans, and interconnection methodologies.
- Establish protective and communication device setting files.
- Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Ensure all system designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
- Analyze and interpret sequence-of-events data for system trips or irregularities.
Regulatory Compliance (15%)
- Create standards and processes for compliance evaluations.
- Develop testing and commissioning procedures per regulatory requirements, including NERC PRC-005.
- Organize and maintain compliance documentation effectively.
Field Support (55%)
- Lead and assist in the commissioning of protection and control projects.
- Support various testing and maintenance activities.
- Devise test plans and technical specifications for commissioning tasks.
