We proudly hold the title of the world's largest provider of Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) consumer electronics device trade-in and buy-back systems, enabling over 500,000 points of sale across the UK, Europe, Africa, India, and China to facilitate the legitimate purchase of second-hand products.
Our esteemed clientele includes industry giants such as Microsoft and Virgin Media.
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Systems Administrator to enhance our business operations through effective network, data, and license administration, including managing our license server.
This pivotal role demands a skilled individual possessing the necessary experience and qualifications in system administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, install, repair, administer, and monitor all aspects of IT and networking systems, both remotely and on-site at West One Technology Ltd.
- Collaborate with clients to meet their IT needs, whether it be sales advice, technical support, or development, through electronic communication or on-site visits.
- Provide technical advisory support to on-site teams and individuals, alleviating workloads as necessary.
- Facilitate communication between management and staff on projects that require technical managerial contact.
- Integrate new computer systems into existing setups to optimize IT functions.
- Troubleshoot IT systems when issues are reported by users.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess any of the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
- Certification courses in software, hardware, and networking.
- Microsoft Systems Administration/System Engineer certification.
Required Skills:
- Ability to adapt to and successfully implement new technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills for hardware and software issues.
- Capability to maintain the fundamental operations of the system.
- Patience when assisting users and management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
This position operates from 09:00 to 18:00, totaling 40 hours per week.
Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
This role is located in Waltham Abbey, Essex.
