Qualifications
Responsibilities:Administer and maintain Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server systems across on-premise, hybrid, or cloud environments.Manage and optimize virtualization and compute platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).Implement and monitor security baselines, patch management, and configuration compliance in accordance with organizational policies.Perform Active Directory/identity management, including user/group administration, Group Policy, and access auditing.Design, document, and deploy new system capabilities in coordination with engineering and cybersecurity teams.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, network, and system-level issues methodically and with minimal downtime.Automate routine administrative and deployment tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.Maintain accurate technical documentation for configurations, system builds, and operational procedures.Provide responsive support to users and stakeholders across mission, development, and enterprise systems.Required Education, Certifications, and Security Clearance:BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Experience may be substituted for degree).TS/SCI Clearance.DoD 8140 (8570) IAT Level II Certification.

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA) is on the lookout for a talented Systems/Cloud Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to join our team in Charlottesville, VA. This role involves the design, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise IT systems within secure environments. The Systems Engineer will work with both Windows and Linux systems, as well as virtualized and cloud platforms, ensuring that our systems are secure, reliable, and optimized to meet mission requirements.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior technical staff to maintain critical infrastructure services, manage identity and access controls, and modernize system configurations through automation and thorough documentation. Responsibilities will include system administration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and integrating new technologies to support dynamic mission and enterprise objectives.
This is an onsite position located in Charlottesville, VA.
