Team Overview
Join SumUp's Global Talent Acquisition team during an exhilarating phase of growth as we support a rapidly scaling fintech business. In your role within the Business hiring chapter, you will manage the complete recruitment process for Business functions in Bulgaria, working closely with the broader TA team to integrate global hiring standards and best practices into the local landscape. This position offers a unique chance to create significant impact—developing trusted partnerships with Business leaders, influencing our hiring processes in Sofia, and contributing to a TA team that is committed to enhancing quality, structure, and candidate experience across Europe.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment cycle for Business positions, with a key emphasis on Finance.
- Conduct intake meetings, establish clear success profiles, and create structured interview plans and scorecards for each hire.
- Design targeted, multi-channel sourcing strategies and effectively manage candidate pipelines across various roles concurrently.
- Monitor funnel metrics, facilitate weekly hiring reviews with stakeholders, and proactively identify bottlenecks that could impede progress.
- Collaborate with Employer Branding to refine the candidate experience and boost conversion rates at the top of the funnel.
Your Profile
- Proven end-to-end recruiting experience within Business functions such as Finance, GRC, or People, ideally in a scale-up or high-growth environment.
- Strong capability to develop and implement structured hiring processes, including scorecards, calibration sessions, and debrief facilitation.
- Comfortable analyzing funnel data to track pass-through rates, time-in-stage, and offer acceptance, utilizing insights to drive improvements.
- Extensive knowledge of the Bulgarian talent market, adept at navigating local hiring challenges while maintaining global quality standards—translating best practices to suit local contexts without lowering the bar.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, with experience in collaborating across functions and locations, adapting global hiring frameworks to local specifics, and keeping leaders engaged and accountable throughout the process.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French, Italian, German, or Spanish is a significant advantage.
