- Conducts regular one-on-one meetings with participants focusing on job searching, educational opportunities, job retention, and overall job readiness.
- Develops a tailored overview of available services and collaborates with participants to establish both short-term and long-term employment plans.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of local resources and employers to better assist participants.
- Ensures participants are accountable by tracking attendance and maintaining employment retention goals.
- Provides timely notifications to relevant government agencies regarding any participant employment status changes.
- Engages in consistent contact with participants across various locations to assess challenges related to job retention and advancement.
- Offers information on training programs and job opportunities that facilitate career advancement.
- Takes primary responsibility for helping participants achieve self-sufficiency by monitoring progress throughout their program journey, starting from referral and continuing to retention and advancement.
- Organizes and maintains accurate records in both electronic and paper formats, documenting the entire history of program participants, including logs of supportive services provided.
- Delivers case management services focused on preparing customers for employment that leads to self-sufficiency.
- Facilitates access to training, education, and employment services, ensuring customers receive job-specific information at the appropriate level.
- Demonstrates the ability to work with diverse cultures, languages, educational backgrounds, and economic situations in a classroom environment.
- Coordinates individual instruction in a professional and orderly manner.
- Aims to enhance job readiness scores among students in workshops, creating a pipeline of work-ready candidates for staff.
- Utilizes Company-specific tools in the classroom, including Resume-Pro, Company Academy, General Education Diploma Academy, Money-Skill, and Project Chief Executive Officer.
- Ensures that each participant completes and submits assignments on time.
- Conducts follow-up outreach to students not engaged in classroom activities and documents these efforts in program issue systems.
- Maintains student assessments in files and the student database.
- Works collaboratively within teams, interacting positively with business customers and other staff members.
- Exhibits strong oral and written communication skills.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
