Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and review of tax work papers and forms generated by the tax analysts within the department for federal and state income and franchise tax returns, estimates, and extensions, ensuring thorough documentation to support future audits and minimize tax liabilities.
- Evaluate tax provision work papers (ASC 740/IAS 12 preferred) including deferred tax analysis, verification of deferred tax balances, and reconciliation of tax payable and receivable balances.
