The School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at Griffith University is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Lecturer (Level B) with a focus on teaching to join our Biomedical Sciences department in a part-time, continuing role (minimum 0.4 FTE). The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong commitment to delivering innovative and high-quality educational experiences.
This role is primarily centered on teaching within the Biomedical Sciences field, involving the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as contributing to the School’s overall teaching and scholarship goals, which encompass teaching excellence and student engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various areas of Biomedical Sciences, including tutorials, practical classes, workshops, field excursions, clinical sessions, and assessments.
- Enhance the student experience by fostering active participation and engagement throughout academic programs.
- Continuously improve teaching practices through professional development, scholarly inquiry, and reflective practices.
- Contribute to advancing the quality, innovation, and evidence-based practices in teaching through scholarly pursuits.
- Engage in research and scholarship that has the potential to influence policy and practice within the broader community.
This is a continuing, part-time position (40%) primarily based at Griffith University’s Gold Coast campus, with the possibility of working across other campus locations as needed.

Salary Range
The full-time equivalent base salary for this position spans from $113,226 to $134,460 per annum, complemented by a 17% superannuation contribution. The total package for this part-time role will range between $132,474 and $157,318 per annum.
