Role Overview:
As a Team Lead, you will be instrumental in optimizing team workflows and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). Your leadership will provide guidance and coaching to our support staff, helping them excel in meeting business objectives. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will identify and implement workflow enhancements to drive operational efficiency.
You will report directly to the Manager of Member and Provider Services.
Work Environment:
This role is based in our Tempe, Arizona office, adopting a hybrid work model which mandates three in-office days each week. Thursdays are reserved for team meetings and events, while the remaining two days are flexible to accommodate your schedule. #LI-Hybrid
Compensation Transparency:
The salary range for this position is: $55,890 - $73,355 per year, along with access to employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and eligibility for annual performance bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and manage a high-performing team, overseeing performance management, professional growth, and related HR tasks.
- Monitor team performance, analyze KPIs, and develop action plans to address operational challenges.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of daily team activities to inform volume-based decision-making that prioritizes customer service.
- Facilitate effective communication by leading team huddles, aligning team members with Oscar's mission, vision, and values, and motivating them to achieve operational goals.
- Promote a positive workplace culture by fostering inclusivity and engagement in alignment with Oscar's core values.
- Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement to enhance team performance.
- Identify and address gaps in existing operational workflows.
- Collaborate across departments to implement best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
