Your Responsibilities
You will provide hierarchical leadership alongside another team leader to approximately 60 staff members within the department. Additionally, you will serve as the primary contact for physicians and fellow team leaders in nursing.
To achieve this:
You will support and motivate colleagues, demonstrating leadership and exemplary behavior. You will embody the desired culture of the organization and foster connection, inspiration, and enthusiasm within the team.
You will guide and empower your staff through effective (annual) discussions, enabling them to take charge of their employability and performance. You will cultivate an open work environment that is enjoyable to work in, encourages learning, and allows staff to leverage their talents.
You will develop the team (development) plan in collaboration with fellow leaders and in consultation with the department head. Together, you will ensure that the team and departmental goals are met. You will oversee the material and personnel budget, identifying and reporting deviations, and making adjustments as necessary in coordination with the neurorehabilitation department head.
You will engage in projects and coach and guide your colleagues on the floor.
You will work on assignments from management and translate these into actionable plans for the team, keeping the interests of your team members in mind.
Your Team
In the Neurorehabilitation department, we strive daily to provide the best specialized care for patients with congenital or acquired brain disorders. Our team includes rehabilitation physicians who specialize in treating patients after strokes and other brain injuries.
