WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
The Solutions Engineering Team at Box comprises solutions engineers, value engineers, platform solution engineers, enterprise architects, and demo engineers. As the Public Sector Solutions Engineering Manager, you will lead and cultivate a team dedicated to serving business and IT leaders within Federal accounts. You'll be responsible for shaping the technical strategy for your region, ensuring the delivery of customer-focused solutions, and collaborating closely with Sales to broaden Box's presence in both new and existing public sector accounts. Furthermore, you will act as a key intermediary between Sales and Product, converting customer insights into actionable recommendations for Product Management, Operations, and Engineering.
This role is centered on U.S. Public Sector clients. We seek a manager who possesses a deep understanding of procurement, compliance, and mission requirements across Federal clients and government programs, and who can coach a team to provide impactful, compliant solutions. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Recruit, mentor, and develop the Public Sector solutions engineering team.
- Enhance and scale foundational solutions engineering processes, including discovery, ideation, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept.
- Lead and drive technical wins to meet team objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and success.
