At Beacon Biosignals, we are redefining patient care for conditions affecting brain physiology.In this dynamic and rewarding position as a Hardware Test Engineer III, you will play a vital role in the development and enhancement of EEG and Home Sleep Test systems that fulfill application, business, customer, and regulatory standards. You will collaborate within the Device Team, reporting directly to the VP of Device Systems, while working closely with hardware, firmware, system, and software engineers. Your responsibilities will include conducting hardware characterization and verification tests, firmware unit tests, integration tests, verification tests, system integration, root cause analysis, and comprehensive documentation to ensure product quality.Your mission as a Hardware Test Engineer is to relentlessly pursue the highest quality and reliability in our products. To achieve this, you will work collaboratively with design, research, manufacturing, and quality teams to bring products from concept to market. Your contributions will extend to product ideation, development, integration validation, and manufacturing, while meticulously documenting design and production processes in compliance with applicable development procedures and regulatory standards.Our flexible asynchronous work practices provide an exceptional remote work experience, with office locations available in Boston, New York, and Paris.Success in This Role Looks Like:Developing and executing device testing procedures in line with Beacon’s Quality Management System (QMS).Creating and documenting test plans, protocols, and scripts for embedded systems, including hardware, firmware, and software, based on design specifications and requirements.Establishing and maintaining test procedures, fixtures, and equipment.Conducting functional, integration, system, and regression tests to validate product performance.
