Our Care & Delivery IT team is pivotal to transforming the customer experience at Back Market through our initiative: Care 2.0. We are transitioning from outdated systems to a state-of-the-art SaaS ecosystem that simplifies the acquisition, ownership, and enjoyment of refurbished technology. This is more than just a tech upgrade; it’s our strategy to scale the circular economy while maintaining a personal touch.
In this role, you will lead a dynamic team of two engineers (alongside freelance partners) responsible for developing the integrations and automations that empower over 500 customer care agents to manage inquiries related to purchases, trade-ins, and deliveries.
Your team's domain includes the technical infrastructure: Zendesk, Intercom, Salesforce, Mayday, and more—creating a cohesive customer journey.
Every workflow you implement will have a direct effect on our customers, sellers, and the support agents assisting them. This hybrid role will require you to balance your leadership responsibilities with hands-on contributions, from architecting solutions to coding workflows and collaborating with your team on complex problem-solving.
Here’s the exciting part: each automation you create will enable us to manage more refurbished devices at scale, which translates to fewer electronics ending up in landfills and more people opting for circular solutions instead of new products.
