Position: Technical Services Field Technician - Energy & Infrastructure Solutions

General Role Overview: As a Technical Services Field Technician, you will deliver exceptional warranty support for utility-scale solar PV inverters, variable frequency drives, power distribution systems, power electronics, and rotating machinery products to our valued clients and field personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of client equipment failures utilizing diagnostic tools to effectively resolve issues.
- Provide expert technical support to clients and engineers, even when not stationed in the field.
- Oversee the commissioning, installation, quality inspections, and performance testing of photovoltaic inverter systems, ensuring they meet design performance specifications.
- Diagnose, isolate issues, and repair or replace defective components as needed.
- Communicate any hardware, software, or system design deficiencies to the factory, collaborating with clients and company engineers to implement corrective actions as per Field Change Notices.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates in the client relationship management (CRM) tool.
- Prepare and issue Service Advices to clients and engineers as required.
- Draft and review field reports for clients upon request.
- Stay current with safety qualifications relevant to assigned tasks, adhering to both Company and client safety protocols.
- Process warranty replacements efficiently, expediting as necessary.
- Investigate proposed field changes, report issues, and suggest solutions to the parent company as needed.
