ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
Join the Technical Services team for Australia & New Zealand as a pivotal contributor, championing customer-centric value-added services, such as Automotive Colour Change and Fleet Application courses, Paint Protection Film Training, and installation troubleshooting. You will also provide customer warranty support and facilitate internal and external training programs that are in alignment with our business strategy. This role entails regular interstate and occasional international travel.
Your responsibilities will encompass providing technical support for the Avery Dennison & Mactac brands across Australia and New Zealand, covering product segments such as Signage, Automotive, Reflective, Screen, Digital Print, and Window Films. Be a vital part of a team that delivers world-class training and testing from our dedicated Training & Innovation Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive technical services to the Australia & New Zealand Graphics Solutions business.
- Implement value-added training programs for sales teams, distributors, converters, installers, and end users.
- Support the Avery Dennison ICS Warranty Program by qualifying and issuing warranties in Australia and New Zealand as identified by sales and marketing.
- Assist in the certification of the Certified Installer and Partner Program Network across ANZ.
- Conduct leading application workshops, delivering relevant content and practical skills to users of Avery Dennison products.
- Contribute to special projects regarding new product introductions and application research.
- Engage in the qualification of raw materials and new products by understanding customer needs.
- Collaborate closely with global R&D and Quality teams to develop new products and resolve issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with approved OEMs and equipment partners.
- Create and review technical documentation for the Australian market, including Product Data Sheets and Instructional Bulletins.
- Recommend processes and procedures for technical support to distribution and converter customers in collaboration with the Technical Services, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports concerning technical activities.
- Participate in joint field calls with the commercial sales team to foster incremental business through targeted share-gain initiatives.
- Maintain ongoing communication with divisions in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific to ensure effective relationships and information sharing.
